Dick was the Administrator for Stewards Canada from 1990 until 2007.  He has since joined the Board of Directors in 2009.

He was born and raised in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, USA and graduated in 1962 from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a B.Sc. degree in Marine Engineering, a license as a Third Engineering Officer in the merchant marine, and a commission as an officer in the US Navy.  For about three years after graduation, Dick served on various merchant ships and worked for New York Shipbuilding Corporation.  In 1965, he moved to Canada and served the A.R. Lite Manufacturing Company as a sales and marketing professional, selling houseware products to major Canadian retailers. 

In 1990, Dick was invited by the Board of Directors to become Administrator of Stewards Canada. He ably served in that capacity for seventeen years until retiring in 2007. His wife Ellie capably assisted with finance and administrative functions.

Dick trusted Christ as his Saviour in 1960. He and Ellie were married in 1963. While living in Montreal, they attended Rosemount Bible Church in Montreal where Dick was a deacon, worked with the Stockade boys club, and sat on the Missionary Committee.

Dick and Ellie moved to Toronto in 1973 where they attended Don Valley Bible Chapel. Dick served as a deacon, an elder, a leader in the Stockade boys club, and sat on the Missionary Committee until 2000. Dick and Ellie now live in Guelph, Ontario and attend Lakeside Church.
